UPDATE Thursday 28 October:

We’re sorry to say that due to circumstances out of our control we have to cancel this event. We are in the process of refunding your tickets. It may take 3–5 days for the refund to show in your bank account. If you have any questions please do email us on info@pucafestival.com

All other events at Púca Festival will go ahead and we are about to remove the ticket price on Jiggy and Aoife Scott in the hope of supporting the return of live music at such a difficult time. Please do take a look at booking in to those nights if you can in support of our musicians and our live music venues.

Irish contemporary folk duo, Laura and Kinsella, first met when they were both studying languages at Maynooth University, where they bonded over musical intricacies; close vocal harmonies, humour and vulnerability in lyric writing. Their music, regularly performed in Irish, exemplifies the profound, raw power that language holds as a way to tell stories and reveal new perspectives.

Nominated as ‘Best Emerging Folk Act’ in the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards 2019. These two are undoubtedly ones to keep your eye on.

“You would be right in thinking that Lemoncello’s mix of acoustic guitar, cello and harmonies results in serene but robust music – Quirke and Kinsella create baroque folk good for the head and the heart.” The Irish Times
